P2 What is follow GOD’s will

Obey GOD’s word: for example, give thanks to everything , it is measurable, and concrete that is GOD’s requirement.

It is not: Have Jesus gentle spirit, have GOD mercy, or worldly merit, since this is based on individual judgement, prejudice, it is abstract. This is not GOD’s requirement.

Baic requirement

Luk 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man has a desire to come after me, let him give up all, and take up his cross every day, and come after me.
Luk 14:26 And turning round, he said to them, If any man comes to me, and has not hate for his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, and even for his life, he may not be my disciple.

GOD set up these standards , because he know there will be a lot of obstacles , so, we have to equip ourselves with these spirit in order to successfully follow GOD’s will.

Do GOD’ will by begin with the simple one, then follow up with more complex and difficult one

For example: start with number 8 complain, gradually move to great commission. Because if you try to preaching GOD’s word, however, you complain a lot, judge other people, and spread the gossip; the people would avoid you like plague, even they can not avoid your presence, their heart will be closed and their ear will be shut. However, if you are always thankful, full of joy, you will be like honey attracting bee, then, preaching the gospel  would be a nature flow.

Follow GOD’s will encounter the following situation

Luk 12:51 Is it your opinion that I have come to give peace on earth? I say to you, No, but division:
Luk 12:52 For from this time, a family of five in one house will be on opposite sides, three against two and two against three.
Luk 12:53 They will be at war, the father against his son, and the son against his father; mother against daughter, and daughter against mother; mother-in-law against daughter-in-law, and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.

Because,

Eph 6:12 For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against authorities and powers, against the world-rulers of this dark night, against the spirits of evil in the heavens.

From the above bible verses, we can understand when a person escape the control of devil and become GOD’s people, there will be a fierce fight. Of course , devil will fight to keep his subordinates and  all the people surrounding us becoming his assistants by creating conflict and stir up our peace. However, this is allowable by GOD to test and strengthen our belief. On the contrary, if there is no uneasy at all, you should question yourself “are you a true believer?” since you are so agreeable with all the surrounding people.

How can we measure that we are on the disciple right track? And, we will know the next milestone

0: Own GOD’s word by Read the Bible => Remember/Recite the verse => Meditate GOD’s word => Doing GOD’s word => Own GOD’s word

Jhn 14:21 He who has my laws and keeps them, he it is who has love for me: and he who has love for me will be loved by my Father, and I will have love for him and will let myself be seen clearly by him.

1: Jesus live in you after follow GOD’s word

Jhn 14:23 Jesus said to him in answer, If anyone has love for me, he will keep my words: and he will be dear to my Father; and we will come to him and make our living-place with him.

2: Reborn is happening:

Jhn 3:3 Jesus said to him, Truly, I say to you, Without a new birth no man is able to see the kingdom of God.


3: Toward 100% follow GOD’s will for everything you do and say

Mat 18:1 In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
Mat 18:2 And he took a little child, and put him in the middle of them,
Mat 18:3 And said, Truly, I say to you, If you do not have a change of heart and become like little children, you will not go into the kingdom of heaven.

Finally, let’s give glory to GOD, because of HIM, and giving us Bible, we have the hope of eternal life.
