20 World


A) What is the world: Curse, against GOD, desire of flesh, pride, dark, death

Mat 18:7 A curse is on the earth because of trouble! for it is necessary for trouble to come; but unhappy is that man through whom the trouble comes.
Rom 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:
Jhn 1:10 He was in the world, the world which came into being through him, but the world had no knowledge of him.
Jhn 12:46 I have come as a light into the world, so that no one who has faith in me will go on living in the dark.
1Jn 5:19 We are certain that we are of God, but all the world is in the power of the Evil One.
1Jn 2:16 Because everything in the world, the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father but of the world.

Belong to world

1Jn 4:5 They are of the world, so their talk is the world's talk, and the world gives ear to them.

Belong to GOD

Jhn 15:19 If you were of the world, you would be loved by the world: but because you are not of the world, but I have taken you out of the world, you are hated by the world.
Jhn 12:46 I have come as a light into the world, so that no one who has faith in me will go on living in the dark.
1Jn 4:4 You are of God, my little children, and you have overcome them because he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
1Jn 4:6 We are of God: he who has the knowledge of God gives ear to us; he who is not of God does not give ear to us. By this we may see which is the true spirit, and which is the spirit of error.

C) Is there any wisdom in the world

1Co 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolish before God. As it is said in the holy Writings, He who takes the wise in their secret designs:
Col 2:8 Take care that no one takes you away by force, through man's wisdom and deceit, going after the beliefs of men and the theories of the world, and not after Christ:

D) So, there is going to have a fight

Eph 6:12 For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against authorities and powers, against the world-rulers of this dark night, against the spirits of evil in the heavens.

E) How the world ends:

1Jn 2:17 And the world and its desires is coming to an end: but he who does God's pleasure is living for ever.

F) However, what is original purpose of GOD

1Jn 2:17 And the world and its desires is coming to an end: but he who does God's pleasure is living for ever.
Rom 12:2 And let not your behavior be like that of this world, but be changed and made new in mind, so that by experience you may have knowledge of the good and pleasing and complete purpose of God.
Jas 4:4 O you who are false to God, do you not see that the friends of this world are not God's friends? Every man desiring to be a friend of this world makes himself a hater of God.
Eph 1:4 Even as he made selection of us in him from the first, so that we might be holy and free from all evil before him in love:
1Jn 2:15 Have no love for the world or for the things which are in the world. If any man has love for the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

G) What can we do to win the world

1Jn 5:3 For loving God is keeping his laws: and his laws are not hard.
1Jn 5:4 Anything which comes from God is able to overcome the world: and the power by which we have overcome the world is our faith.
Jhn 16:33 I have said all these things to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble: but take heart! I have overcome the world.
