16 Salvation 1/3

Salvation is like GOD say we won a lottery (GOD part), then, we follow the Lottery Bureau requirements , like to prepare ID, at designated place, and time to pickup our rewards(Human part).

Below are two verses to explain GOD’s part, we have nothing to do with this portion:

Eph 2:8 Because by grace you have salvation through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is given by God:
Eph 2:9 Not by works, so that no man may take glory to himself.

Here is the discussion of human part:

Start of salvation

Mat 7:21 Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will go into the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the pleasure of my Father in heaven.

This is uttered by Jesus Christ, the first time, he is GOD’s lam for sin, the second time, he will be the Lord who judge the world.

What is heaven, GOD’s residence.

What is follow GOD’s will: obey whatever teaching in bible, like corinthians 3:23

What is the meaning of whole word: Only these we follow GOD’s will can enter GOD’s house, in other word, if you don’t follow, you can not get in.

Will this word be carried out?

Isa 55:10 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and does not go back again, but gives water to the earth, and makes it fertile, giving seed to the planter, and bread for food;
Isa 55:11 So will my word be which goes out of my mouth: it will not come back to me with nothing done, but it will give effect to my purpose, and do that for which I have sent it.

From the above two verses, we know GOD will accomplish his purpose.

Where you are in the path to eternal life?

Mat 7:13 Go in by the narrow door; for wide is the door and open is the way which goes to destruction, and great numbers go in by it.
Mat 7:14 For narrow is the door and hard the road to life, and only a small number make discovery of it.

From the above verses, you can see the eternal life is like walking in small road, the more you do it, then, you are more advance on this road.
