12 Sanctify/Reverence

GOD’s promise

2Co 6:18 And will be a Father to you; and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord, the Ruler of all.
2Co 7:1 Because God, then, will give us such rewards, dear brothers, let us make ourselves clean from all evil of flesh and spirit, and become completely holy in the fear of God.

But, how do we fear GOD? Through knowing GOD to reverent GOD

2Ch 6:33 Then give ear from heaven your living-place, and give him his desire, whatever it may be; so that all the peoples of the earth may have knowledge of your name, worshipping you as do your people Israel, and may see that this house which I have made is truly named by your name.

What is our duty:

Jhn 1:12 To all those who did so take him, however, he gave the right of becoming children of God--that is, to those who had faith in his name:
Jhn 1:13 Whose birth was from God and not from blood, or from an impulse of the flesh and man's desire.

But, how do you know you are GOD’s children?

Heb 12:5 And you have not kept in mind the word which says to you as to sons, My son, do not make little of the Lord's punishment, and do not give up hope when you are judged by him;
Heb 12:6 For the Lord sends punishment on his loved ones; everyone whom he takes as his son has experience of his rod.

Let us become sanctified by entering Jesus

1Ts 5:23 And may the God of peace himself make you holy in every way; and may your spirit and soul and body be free from all sin at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
